COVID-19 PRACTICE DRILL

COVID-19 PRACTICE DRILL: tomorrow, Fri, 17Jul2020, 4pm to
5.30pm. Anabar, Buada and Location.
Please be advised that aCOVID-19 PRACTICE DRILLby Nauru's
essential services will be staged tomorrow, Friday, 17 July from
4pm to 5.30pm.
The key message for the public istameg bwimi mwe ranga kami:
stay home and look after each other.
The practice drill will test essential services effectiveness
and coordination, by staging a scenario with a breach of
quarantine, starting at the Budapest Hotel, Anabar, and moving to
Buada and Location.
The public is advised to stay clear, follow instructions and
allow the various essential services to complete the drill and test
their command systems.
It is important that the public keeps informed and awaits any
updates and instructions on:

Parents are responsible to ensure their children stay clear -
police and CLO personnel have essential roles to play in the drill,
and rely on community cooperation to keep everyone safe.
Actors involved in the scenario are known as 'Mr Powerlifter'
and 'Mr Weightlifter'.
Essential services involved in the drill are National Emergency
Services (NES), Nauru Fire and Rescue Services (NRFS), Nauru Police
Force (NPF), community liaison officers (CLOs), Health, Eigigu
Solutions Corporation (ESC) and Daimon Clan Security Services
(DCSS).
In addition, 14 drill exercise controllers, wearing yellow vests
are present to ensure the drill goes to plan and procedures are
followed.
Working together in our communities and as a nation, we can
continue to keep Nauru COVID-19-free.
