In today's update, the accumulative
statistics as at end of Thursday, 7 July, are as follows:

50 new cases

4,125 active cases

371 tests done yesterday (Thu, 7 July)

13,540 tests done this outbreak

1,559 cases recovered
-
9 cases admitted to the hospital Acute Care Unit with an additional
3 carers
- (1 patient with comorbidities
- 1 patient in her late 40s
- 1 child responding well to treatment
- 2 patients in moderate condition, and
- others with mild or no COVID symptoms. All patients are closely
monitored.
- 1 death (accumulative)
- 0 critical cases
- 0 ventilation
- 292 houses on lockdown with 2,695
residents.
- 69 occupants in the quarantine
facility (Budapest)
Yesterday's test results equate to
13 per cent or approximately 1 in 7 results returning positive.
This means daily positive results are decreasing and the overall
positive results collected is at 33 per cent.
The COVID outbreak is still being
monitored and the public is urged to get tested and register
results - both positive and negative.
You are urged to continue
practicing good hygiene - hand washing, wear a mask, keep your
distance and keep your house well ventilated.
Sixty nine children aged five to 11
received their first dose yesterday (Thu, 7 July), taking the total
to 962. Only 37 per cent of children in this age group have
received their first dose. Parents and guardians are encouraged to
bring in their children to get vaccinated. Testing and vaccination
stations for this group are open at the Aiwo Boulevard.
Everyone is urged to get tested and
register results. Drive-through testing stations are always open.
